JUST WATCH ME!

SAT. A.M. GROUP

At Hidden Talent Fine Art School we have a great group that paints on Sat. Morning. You will get to follow that progress every week and see how their paintings appear before you eyes. Here are some photos, and soon some comments from our students. Questions? Ask me and I will try and get back to you ASAP!

V. Is painting an aboriginal women who is making pemmican. The composition is strong, the figure is situated off center, and her choice for monochromatic is blue. She has just started to apply color.
L. Is finishing her second painting ever! She has finished her mono in brown warm tones and is staring with the hardest part...The kettle!
B. Has combined two references and finished her monochromatic in brown tones. She enjoyed doing the clouds, and kept her edges of the trees soft( very important!!) against the sky. She is now placing her darks in the sunflower field so she can find where she is in this detailed painting.

M. has a great painting! She is doing elephants, many of them. M. loves detail, so this is perfect for her...loads of wrinkles. She has a detailed drawing and has chosen purple for her monchromatic. This one may stay a monochromatic...she is doing this for her home.
H. has chosen a lion cub. She is working on getting the dark value just right. The color of it's fur was a bit of a surprize...alot of orange! This cat is big and bold, and the canvas size is perfect.
A. is finishing her painting of a small girl that stayed with her family for a while. She travels home from college and comes to paint classes whenever she can. Her mom and dad are very supportive, but wanted that tongue painted NOW!

MORE SAT. PAINTERS ON THE NEXT POST!!
